A new report from The Border Consortium examines refugee-led camp management on the Thai–Myanmar border, highlighting over four decades of elected refugee committees sustaining protection, stability, and crisis response. The findings demonstrate that refugee-led governance is a durable, locally grounded model with important lessons for humanitarian policy in protracted displacement contexts worldwide.
